Big news: I’m now officially a freelance photographer! Two weeks ago I visited the ‘Kamer van Koophandel’ and registered my company ‘Laura Vink Fotografie’! Hooray! To be honest, I hadn’t really planned it for months for me to do this. After my holiday to Tunisia I was just wondering whether it would give me any benefits or just more costs (with taxes and everything), and decided to figure that out. I bought a book ‘Handboek Freelancen 2008/2009‘, read a whole lot of it, tried to remember what I learned in economics at high school and concluded in the end that it would cost me a bit, but it would give me even more. So that’s how it happened, and a simple visited to the Kamer van Koophandel was enough. What happened after the registration is that I made a completely new (Dutch) website that you should definitely check out: http://lauravinkfotografie.nl.  The first photoshoots are already booked, exciting!
