I’ve made some changes to this website. Again, I know. It’s not that I’m not satisfied with the design or something, but there’s always something new to add. Before I was using 3 Content Management Systems (the ‘programs’ behind this website), now I only use one: WordPress. A few months ago I got rid of ZenPhoto and updated my Gallery using the WordPress NextGen plugin. And now I’ve changed my blog from Pixelpost to WordPress using the Yet Another Photoblog plugin. Having everything in one CMS is much easier and gives me a better overview.
As a result my blog has changed a little bit, but the way it works is almost the same and will probably speak for itself. Most important is that when I update my blog, this will be automatically posted on my Twitter account. And when people reply to this new photo on Twitter, their tweet will be posted as a comment. A great feature I think that is made possible by Twitoaster plugin.

I can add three new publications to my “
Publications and Exhibitions” page. This first one is a story about me and my photography on Digifotopro.nl. You can read it
here (Dutch only). In the other publication my photo is
featured on the frontpage of
Weeklyshot.org.
“WeeklyShot is a different kind of group photoblog and photo challenge. Every week they announce a new theme, then photographers interpret this theme and upload their own photos in response. During the week users critique the images and decide which ones get featured on our homepage photoblog for all to see.”
This morning I submitted the same photo as my latest blog post ‘
121 seconds of silence‘ and it was featured this afternoon which makes me very proud. (Edit 15/7/10) And also the
seascape photo I’d shot on Sardina I uploaded after that one also got featured!
Then a small update about me: I’m still abroad a lot these days. The day before yesterday I got back from Lake Garda in Italy and tomorrow I’m leaving to Croatia. I’m sorry if my blog lacks the recent updates, but I hardly have the time to keep up since I’m only home for such a short period of time. But I promise to bring back some nice images again! :)

Yesterday I’ve added a new page to this website called
publications and exhibitions. This overview shows where my work has been put on the spotlight on other websites or has been printed in magazines or papers. On the bottom of that page I’ve made a list of my current, past and upcoming exhibitions where my photos will be displayed.
There are two very recent publications I would like to point out to you. First; one of the seascape photos I made on Sardinia was chosen as
Photo of the Day on
Earthshots.org. It’s already my fourth photo that is posted on that website, but I still think it’s a great honour. Second, last Sunday
an interview with me was published in the ‘Zonsdagsnieuws’ (translated: Sunday news’) about the current exhibition that is now in the library in Eindhoven (sorry, it’s in Dutch only). In this exhibition, showing photos of (people of) Eindhoven made by the students of CKE, 3 of my photos with student rooms are displayed!
